Subject: It's a wrap! "Iraq for Sale" is finished.

Traditionally, cast and crew get to celebrate at a "wrap party" at

this stage. But nothing is traditional about the Brave New Films

approach. None of us wanted a wrap party if it couldn't include the

thousands of great supporters who have made this film (and the others)

possible. Your financial contributions, your research help, your blog

comments and your commitment to help distribute the film have been

vital and invaluable. We truly couldn't have done it without you.

So please accept this email as our celebratory "wrap letter."

Producing this film has been a powerful, challenging and gut-wrenching

experience for all of us. A group of amazing heroes came foward to

speak on camera about their experiences with the companies who have

profited obscenely from the war in Iraq: Mothers whose sons were

killed in Fallujah; truck drivers who went overseas to help the troops

and instead faced first-hand the greed and profiteering of

haliburton/KBR; and interrogators and translators who were hired by

the profiteers caci and titan to work at Abu Graib. These stories

will shock, appall and mobilize you and everyone else who sees this

film.

The BNF crew did an amazing job working seven days a week for months

and months, and we were a very tired, hungry but impassioned team as

we finished up very late this past Saturday night.

Now, we turn to all of you, who have the ability to reach out and

create change. The issue of war profiteering is one that crosses all

the narrow partisan divides. I am sure that many of you will have

inspired plans as to how to make sure the film is seen by as many

people as possible in these next few months. Please start planning

screening events for the week of October 8th-14th, and add your

screenings to the website here:

Through the generosity of our "Patriots against Profiteers" campaign,

we will have five thousand DVDs we can give to schools, groups,

libraries and others. So (2) send us your suggestions for what places,

groups, organizations -- even individuals -- should receive a copy.

But first, (3) order your own DVD now! We're keeping them

ultra-affordable at $12.95 and 5 for $50, so buy several if you can,

and start spreading word, sending out emails, and getting your friends

and fellow activists involved. We're about to start pressing DVDs and

will ship them out September 26.

"Profits over patriotism" is an offense to everyone. We can do

something. YOU can do something!

Thank you, as always, for your commitment and support.

P.S. We've had a (5)terrific response to a couple test screenings of

the film, the (6)great research and work being done on the blog

continues, and the (7)Washington Post ran a story yesterday about our
